BREAKING NEWS - L.A. METROLINK TRAIN CRASH!
09/13/08, 10:30PM PT - UPDATE: Recovery efforts have ceased as all passenger have been accounted for. There were 25 people killed (including an off-duty LAPD Officer), 135 injured and 45 in critical condition. According to a Metrolink spokesman, the appreant cause of the crash is “Engineer’s Error” as it is believed that the Engineer was sending text messages and may have ran a red signal. 09/12/08, 5:44PM PT - A Metrolink passenger train has collided head-on into a freight train. Several people have been killed and dozens injured. I been watching this live since just after the call came out on my scanner around 4:23PM PT.
